The Vine owners, Glen and Tawni Hendriks and their staff are very pleased you have chosen The Vine Restaurant for your dining experience. Glen and Tawni started in the restaurant business early in life. Tawni’s mom had a restaurant in Montana where she taught Tawni the joy of serving people at the age of twelve. Glen became a manager of his first restaurant at age eighteen. He has been in restaurant management for over 30 years, the last 15 years in the Rogue Valley, with the goal in mind that one day he would open his own restaurant. When Glen and Tawni found this beautiful location they knew it was time to bring that dream to fruition. The Tuscany dècor with the beauty of vineyards and the Biblical reference to what the name stands for (John 15) was the thought process behind naming this restaurant The Vine.

We make every effort to keep foods that contain gluten away from our gluten free items. We use seperate bowls and serving utensils and mark our containers clearly. While we do make every effort please note for those who are very gluten intolerant our kitchen also prepares foods that do contain gluten. Our fries are pure potatoes (without the addition of flour fillers the way some fries are prepared) so they are gluten free, but they are deep fried in oil where other breaded food is cooked. This is not an issue for most people on a gluten free diet, but it’s worth mentioning. Tawni has had to eat gluten free for years and is very sensitive to gluten yet she loves the fries and has no problem when eating them.
